Medicinal uses of Chromolaena odorata

Leaf extract are useful for cuts and wounds. The leaf and or leaves is squeezed and the extract applied on cuts and wound


For colds and flu the leaves of Chromolaena odorata are pounded to extract the juice, which is mixed with a tablespoon each of honey, castor oil and olive oil.  A teaspoonful of the extract is recommended. It should be taken three times in a day viz: morning, afternoon and evening
